Dripping with jewels9 viewsThe Ravine section of Heligan gardens was shady and damp, with ferns and trickling streams. I loved the way the limited light fell on these plants with their tiny drops of water and picked out the fine details. Very difficult to capture: this was my best shot.3 commentsEileen
Bellerive Dawn II.jpg
Bellerive Dawn II8 viewsA shot from slightly earlier than my previous Bellerive Dawn post

I had set my alarm, ready to go off and meet up with some of my fellow members of the Hobart Photographic Society, who were staying down at Eaglehawk Neck, and were going for a sunrise visit/shoot to the Tessellated Pavement.

When I got into the car however, I realised that I was an hour later than I thought I was, as (I later deducted) I had set my alarm on my mobile phone to the right time, but had not re-set the time on it once daylight saving had started a few weeks before.

I ended up making it across to 'old faithful' Bellerive, and caught a few shots of what was, a reasonable sunrise considering the cloud cover.

Coming in to land5 viewsBit of a grab shot this little fellow had literally just landed on the thinnest of stems that you can't even see...hence the title bit of motion blur on this one I think but just caused by him swaying on the stem.1 commentskrennon
